so... back in 05, BC skateshop put on a little demo at the skatepark. tons of fun skating with the kids, and at the end, a product toss. "GIVE ME FREE STUFF" was the childrens rallying cry. during the scuffle for free merch, one unsuspecting kid got clocked in the face by an errant board. we all laughed, because he was just some kid. he didnt even get the board. when the blood stopped flowing, we gave him the board for his efforts, and had Bryan Findells girlfriend at the time, who we'll call Kelly, drive the poor kid to the hospital.
5 years later, at another BC demo, our good friend Carter says "lets not throw boards into the group of kids". this prompts questions from the rest of the seasoned riders. As it turns out, CARTER WAS THE KID WHO GOT ROCKED! and he never told us. that sent me on a quest to find a photo of our poor friend Carter as a child, bloodied and bruised.
