This here is the FIRST Soop video we ever made. Filmed in Marvelous Hi8 Video, and edited IN CAMERA (the pinnacle of analog technology!). The opening card with everyones name was made in Mario Paint. You can faintly see my reflection, since I just pointed the camera at the screen. We were high tech back then. So, without further achoo, I present The Soop Video, featuring Jacob and Josh Fitzgarrald, Bryan Findell, Dave Giesbrecht, and Wade Harvey.

The Projects (http://www.theprojectspark.com/) recently added a gigantic quarter pipe, and every company jumped to get time on it. I went there yesterday with Danny Thollander and Ben Bazis, and did some shooting. Ben managed to knock his tooth out. Expect to see lots of photos of this beast in the mags in the next few months.
Todays post is a tribute to The CG, or Chuluota Grocery. Located in Chuluota, FL (down the road from the Hitching Post, and next door to Chuluota Feed), Chuluota Grocery is undoubtedly the best grocery store on the planet. Everything in the store is marked up a few cents, but they easily make up for it with Down Home Hospitality (if you can understand whatever the heck Pops is saying). The store may be a little cluttered (overstocked product is stacked on the floor in the aisle), but its the best. Also, I cant forget about the WORLD FAMOUS CHULUOTA CHILLER. Basically a DQ Blizzard, but its only a dollar, and its made with LOVE. Also, be sure to have a "conversation" with the redneck hicks that hangout outside. Its sure to be a night to remember.
Busy few days! Thursday was the release party for the first issue of Transworld Wakeboarding (formerly Wakeboarding Magazine) at OWC.
Surf Expo kicked off on Friday at Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Tons of booths and fun times. Everyone who's Nobody was there. After Expo on Friday night was the Transworld Wake Awards, honoring the best* riders, companies, and players in the world of Wakeboarding.
After the awards, the whole industry met at The Other Bar on Wall Street to get dehydrated together.
All day Saturday was the 7th Anual Rockstar Energy Drink Byerly Toe Jam at OWC. I guess some riding went down and drinks were given out, but wake contests are so dreadfully awful, I really have no idea what went down. I bet everyone got hyped on kickflips and boardslides 90 out (more on this atrocity another day). Also, Rakim was supposed to perform after the contest, but he bailed.

so... i moved. as the banner up top indicates, i now reside in the sunshine state. so far, it lives up to its billing. i mean, its no Nebraska, but it'll do for now. keep checking here for all the latest happenings in the world of... whatever im doing.
